Questions
What is a good EQ score?
On this test the score runs from 0 to 100. Most people land between 50 and 75. Your profile across the four areas says more than the total.
Can emotional intelligence be improved?
Yes. Unlike IQ, many of these skills respond to practice, for example naming feelings, pausing before reacting and asking open questions.
How is EQ different from IQ?
IQ measures reasoning with problems. EQ is about handling emotions. The two are only loosely related, so a person can be high in one and average in the other.
