What it measures
This is a span test of working memory: the mental notepad you use to hold information for a few seconds while you use it.
Numbers
Repeating a list of digits measures verbal working memory. Most adults manage 6 or 7.
Squares
Repeating a path of squares measures visual-spatial memory. Most adults manage 5 or 6.
Two chances
You get two tries at each length. The test ends after two misses in a row at the same length.

Questions
Is a span of 7 good?
Yes, that is slightly above average for numbers. Spans of 9 or more are rare.
How can I remember more?
Group the numbers into chunks, like a phone number, or say them in your head with a rhythm.
